Senior Estimator
Commercial Construction
We are recruiting for a well known and long established South Australian company that has built up an enviable reputation for reliability and timely delivery of quality new construction and refurbishments to around $20m. The company has QA Certification to ISO 9002 and is pre-qualified with DAIS for category 1 Building Contractor and Construction Manager. It enjoys significant repeat business from government, institutional and corporate clients.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager you will be responsible for vetting contract documentation, taking off quantities from plans and specifications, preparing budgets, tenders, negotiating and awarding subcontract agreements.
You will need to be computer literate, have proven experience in estimating construction and/or refurbishment projects, be willing to work with a team of consultants in Management type projects, be able to work with minimal supervision and have good communication and negotiation skills.
The remuneration package offered is aimed at attracting competent, achievement oriented candidates.
