Glazing Industry
Our client is a leading and long established South Australian Glazing company servicing both the commercial and residential construction sectors. The company, which is highly regarded, has enjoyed sustained growth and foster a happy and supportive work environment to all their staff.
They are now providing an outstanding opportunity for the right person to undertake an estimating role and join the team of this glazing industry leader.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the appointee will be responsible for taking off quantities from plans & specifications, to prepare budget and detailed cost estimates, take site measurements of projects as required, tendering and assisting with contract administration.
Ideal applications will come from computer literate persons with an estimating background in the commercial and/or residential construction sector for a minimum of two to three years. You will have good communication and negotiation skills, excellent computing skills with a reasonable knowledge of estimating soft ware and a high level of accuracy with figures. A flair and passion for the construction industry as well as knowledge of the glazing and construction methods will be considered favourable.
An attractive remuneration package, with the option is offered for this position.
