Project Engineer /Civil Engineer

Our client is one of SA’s largest and most well known Civil Engineering and Construction companies with operations in and around South Australia and interstate.
The company undertakes civil infrastructure construction including bulk earthworks, pipelines, road works, sub divisions and concrete structures.
Due to an unprecedented growth the company is now offering a fantastic career opportunity for the right person to join the team of this South Australian icon.
Reporting to the Project Manager the appointee will be responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects. Duties include Client liaison, contract administration, planning & scheduling, monitoring construction to ensure work carried out is in accordance with contract specifications, budgets and time parameters, Quality Assurance, allocating personnel and other resources, implementation of management systems and working closely with the construction supervisor.
Applicants must have tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or have proven experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager on a diverse range of civil construction projects, as well as having strong communication and negotiation skills.
