Junior Project Manager
Commercial Construction
Our client is a well established and highly regarded South Australian Construction Company undertaking new construction projects and refurbishments in the commercial construction sector. The company, which is highly regarded, has enjoyed sustained growth and foster a happy and supportive work environment to all their staff.
The company is now in a position to offer a Junior Project Manager role to Foremen and Supervisors that are ready to take the next step in their construction careers and who see them selves in a Project Manager position in the near future.
Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be assisting in programming work, managing construction through site based supervisory personnel to ensure their timely completion in accordance with specifications. You will also be trained to assist in other duties including contract administration and monitoring costs against budgets.
Applications are invited from computer literate people who have proven experience in supervising a diverse range of commercial construction projects to around $5m in value. Good communication and negotiation skills and a high level of motivation are also key requirements of this position.
A building trade background in commercial construction supervision/or tertiary studies in building disciplines with at least three years experience in the construction industry is essential.
As the appointee will be a member of the project management team, an attractive remuneration package including vehicle or vehicle allowance is being offered in order to attract high quality achievement oriented candidates.
